Workouts
Creating a workout is easy! From the menu, just go to the Products page and click the Build Workout button. If you want to change an existing workout, click the Edit link instead.
Every workout has two parts. The first part is the Workout Header. This is where you give a quick overview of what your workout includes. You can also assign Stars, choose which clients it’s for, and set up the layout. The second part is the Workout Content. This is where you add the exercises that make up the workout.
Workout Header

Getting Started with Your Workout
To create a workout, start by giving it a name and choosing a category. You’ll only see categories that are set up to hold workouts. If you don’t see your category, check your category settings to make sure it’s marked to accept workouts.
Assign a Staff Member
Next, choose a Staff Member to be in charge of this workout. Just select their name from the list.
Stars 🌟
If you’ve turned on Star Club in your settings, you can reward your clients with stars when they complete a workout.
To enable this:
-
Toggle the Enable Star switch to green.
-
Then, choose how many stars your client should earn for finishing the workout.
Workout Duration & Level
Let your clients know how long the workout should take by filling in the Workout Duration.
You can also choose a Workout Level to show how intense the workout is. This is especially helpful if you’re offering on-demand content (make sure that’s enabled in your settings!).
Assigning Workouts to Clients
Want to assign this workout to one or more clients?
First, save your workout. Then click the Assign to Clients icon in the Workout Header. You can assign it to individuals, groups, or multiple clients at once.
Workout Description
Add a short description to give your clients a quick idea of what this workout is all about.
Shared Workout Access
By default, all staff can see and edit the workout.
If you want to limit access so only the assigned staff can view or edit it, toggle the Shared Workout switch off (it will turn red).
Tags
You can add search tags to make your workout easier to find later.
If you’re adding more than one tag, separate them with commas.
Optional
-
Workout Explainer Video: Add a video from YouTube or Vimeo to help explain the workout. For help, check our [Quick Guide to Adding a Video].
-
Header Image: You can upload a header image, or leave it blank. If blank, your brand colors and the workout title will show instead.
Client Preview
As you fill in your workout details, you’ll see a preview of what it will look like in the client app.
Note: This is just a visual guide—the real app might look slightly different.
List View vs. Guided View
By default, List View is turned on. This shows all exercises on one screen, which is great for clients who know how to move through a workout.
If you turn List View off, each exercise appears on its own screen with a “Next” button to move through the workout. This setup works well for:
-
New clients who need more guidance
-
Video-only workouts, like if you’re teaching something step-by-step (e.g., a Karate school showing parts of a kata one at a time)
Equipment
At the bottom of the preview screen, there’s a spot where you can list any equipment needed for the workout.
Adding Equipment
If your workout requires any equipment, you can let your clients know what equipment is needed within the Equipment area. Simply click on the green plus button to upload an image and caption for each equipment type. You can add as many types of equipment as needed, or you can leave it empty if no equipment is required.

Workout Content
Now that you’ve created your Workout Header, it’s time to give your workout some content!
Building your Workout
Click the +Add Title button to get started
Enter a title name by remove the holding text ‘Title Box’ and enter your own title, for example, Warm Up.

When you add a title you’ll notice a new green plus button appear, clicking the green plus button will show you all the exercises available to you, you can filter your exercises by ticking or unticking the filter boxes at the top of the popup window. Clicking the green arrow icon at the base of each exercise will add the corresponding exercise to your workout. You can add single exercises as you build your workout, or you can add multiple exercises by continuing search and select your exercises.
If you would like to add your own exercise video’s you’ll need to first add them to the Exercise Library.
Continue adding exercises until you have completed your first section, once completed click the +Add Title button to add a new title, for example, Workout.
Click on the green plus button to start adding content to your second section.
Your Workout can contain up to 3 individual title sections, each of which can contain any number of individual exercises, for example, ‘Warm Up’, ‘Workout’, and ‘Warm Down’.
Removing an Exercise
To remove an exercise from your workout simply click on the trash can.
Reordering Exercices
You can drag and drop any exercise to a new location by clicking and holding the top orange header of the exercise and dragging it to a new location.
Video only exercises

If your workout is more about instruction and doesn’t include sets or reps, you’ll want to turn on the Video Only option (just switch it to green).
You can mix things up too! Your workout can include:
-
Just video-only exercises
-
Just set-based exercises
-
Or a combination of both
For example, if you’re showing how to move through a Kata, you might want to use video-only sections to break it down step by step.
Adding Sets to exercises

To add a Set to an exercise, just click the green plus (+) icon. This will open a popup window where you can choose the type of Set you’d like to add.
Set Types
There are three kinds of Sets you can use:
-
Timer Duration – Great for timed exercises like planks or stretches.
-
Tracking Fields – Use this when you want clients to enter reps, weight, distance, etc.
-
Supersets – Perfect for grouping two or more exercises together into one flowing set.
Timer Duration
The Timer Duration displays an automated countdown timer for the selected Set, this is ideal for timing your plank, stretches or anything else that you want to do within a set time.

Tracking Fields
Tracking Fields let you set up to three custom fields per set, so your clients know what to aim for and (if you choose) can track their progress.
Here’s how to add a Tracking Field:
-
Select a Tracking Field from the dropdown menu.
-
In the Tracking Target box, type in the goal you’d like your client to aim for, for example if you have selected the Tracking Field ‘Reps’ then you would enter ’10’ in the Tracking Target to show ’10 Reps’ within the app.
-
If you want your client to record their progress, switch the toggle on (it will turn green).
-
If the toggle is off, your client will only see your target/s. This is useful for things like warm-ups or cool-downs where tracking isn’t needed.
-
Managing Fields
-
To delete a field, click the trash can icon.
-
To add another field, click the green plus (+) icon.
Rest Timer
At the bottom of the popup, you can set a Rest Timer—this is a countdown that starts automatically when your client finishes the set. It helps guide them on how long to rest before moving on.

Saving and Managing Your Set
When you’re done setting everything up, click Save. Your Set will appear in the grey area under the exercise.
From there, you can:
-
Create a new Set with different settings
-
Duplicate the Set by clicking the copy icon — this is helpful if you want to make small changes without starting from scratch
-
Delete the Set by clicking the trash can icon

Supersets
To create a Superset, choose “Superset” from the Add Set popup, then click Save.
You’ll be taken back to the exercise screen. In the grey area, you’ll now see a red plus (+) icon. Click this to start adding exercises to your Superset.
You can add sets to each exercise just like you would with a regular workout exercise.
Managing Your Superset
-
To add another set of exercises to your Superset, click the red plus (+) icon again.
-
To duplicate the whole Superset, click the copy icon.
-
To remove a Superset, click the trash can icon.
When you’re done click save.
If you have enabled on-demand content within your settings page, your Workout will now be available within the on-demand section of your app.
If you have the on-demand settings enabled, but you do not want to include the program within your workout, simply assign it to a ‘hidden’ category.
