Programs

Creating a program is very simple, just click on the ‘Products‘ page in the left menu and then click on the Build Program button, or if you’re editing an existing program, click on the Edit link.

Each Program that you create is split into two sections. The first section is the Program Header, this is where you give an overview of what your program will contain. The second section is the Program Content, which is a collection of workouts that are used to create your Program.

Program Header

To create your Program you will need to give your Program a name and assign it to a category. The list of categories will only contain categories that have been created to accept Programs.

Give your Program a brief description, this should only be a brief overview as your video will do most of the talking 🙂

Next, you will need to assign your Program a Staff Lead. Your staff lead is the leading staff member, or main staff member, that delivers all, or the bulk of the workouts contained within the Program.

By default, your Program will be accessible to all staff members that are registered within your uniquefit account. If you only wish the assigned Staff Member to have access to the Program disable the Shared Workout toggle switch so that it is red.

You now need to give the Total Duration of your Program. Adding the Total Duration will create the total number of days required for your Program within the Program Content area.

You can give your Program search tags that you can use when searching for your Program, if adding multiple search tags make sure to separate them using a comma.

Next, add your Program explainer video. You can use either Youtube or Vimeo videos. For more info on adding a video, check out our quick guide to adding a video. Once you have added your video it will appear in the Program Content section.

If you’d like to assign your Program to an individual client or membership, you will first need to save your program, you can then click on the ‘Assign to Clients’ icon within the Program header, which will allow you to assign the selected program to individual, multiple, or selected groups of clients.

You’ll notice that as you enter your Program details you’ll be presented with a visual indication of what your clients will see within the client app. Please be aware that this is only a visual indication and may differ slightly within the app.

At the base of the visual, you’ll notice an area where you can add Equipment.

Adding Equipment

If your Program requires any equipment, you can let your clients know what equipment is needed within the Equipment area. Simply click on the green plus button to upload an image and caption for each equipment type. You can add as many types of equipment as needed, or you can leave it empty if no equipment is required.

Program Content

If your Program is over a few days (as set within the Total Duration area of the Program Header), you will see the number of days listed in the Program Content area. If your Program is over a number of weeks you will notice that all of the days are housed in the individual weeks, which can be collapsed using the arrow to the right for convenience.

You will notice that there are no Start and End dates, this means that you can assign a Program to any start date and it will span the duration of the Program from that date onwards. If a client can not attend a workout on a set day, they can simply move the workout to a new day within the selected week using their uniquefit client app. From the client apps home screen simply click on the ‘Schedule’ link, select the applicable date and press and hold (for 1 second) the workout you wish to move and drag it to a new date. Please be aware that workouts can only be moved within the selected week and workouts can not be moved past the end date of the Program.

Adding a Workout

To add a workout to one of the days simply click on the selected days green plus button and select your workout, clicking the green arrow icon will add the workout to your selected day. Continue to add workouts to all the days you’d like a workout scheduled, any days that do not have a workout assigned will be shown as ‘Rest Days’. You can add Rest Day Images in your Settings page

When you’re done click save.

If you have enabled on-demand content within your settings page, your Program will now be available within the on-demand section of your app.

If you have the on-demand settings enabled, but you do not want to include the program within your workout, simply assign it to a ‘hidden’ category.
