Assigning Programs

First up, what is a Program!? Well, a program is a collection of workouts over a number of days, weeks or even months. A program will have its own purpose, for example, 12-week body transformation, learning to handstand in 14 days, 5 miles in 5 weeks… well you get the picture 😀

Programs are created in the Products page using the uniquefit Program Builder.

Once you have created a Program you can assign it by selecting the Program and clicking the ‘Assign Program’ icon, or you can assign it from the Assign Programs area within an individual clients page, or by using the clients ‘Schedule‘ calendar.

Assigning Programs

There are three methods of assigning a program or workout:

  1. From the actual Program or Workout
  2. From the individual Clients Page, within the ‘Schedule’ tab
  3. From the individual Clients Page, within the’Programs’ tab

1. Assigning a Program or Workout using the actual Program or Workout 🤔

After you create a Program or Workout on the Products page, you can assign it to one or more clients to start on the same date.

Note: You need to save the Program or Workout before you’ll see the “Assign” icon. For example, if you just made a Workout, make sure to save it first. Then, go back to it and you’ll be able to assign it.

2. Assigning Programs and Workouts using the Schedule page

Programs and Workouts are created in the Products page using the uniquefit Workout Builder.

To open the Schedule page, go to the Clients page and choose a client. Then click on the Schedule tab. From there, you can assign Programs and Workouts to one client, a group of clients, or all of them.

To assign a Program or Workout:

  1. Click the Training button at the top of the calendar.

  2. Move your mouse over the day you want the Program or Workout to start.

  3. A green plus icon will show up in the top right corner of that day.

  4. Click the icon, and a pop-up window will appear so you can complete the assignment.

In the pop-up window, you can search for a Program or Workout by typing in the search box and pressing the return (Enter) key.

Next, choose who you want to assign it to:

  • To assign it to all clients, turn on the “Assign to all Clients” switch (it will turn green).

  • To assign it to one or more groups, check the boxes next to the groups you want.

If you’re only assigning it to the client you selected earlier, you can skip this step.

Finally, choose whether to assign a Program or a Workout by clicking the green arrow icon in the bottom left corner of the item you want.

Removing/Editing a Program or Workout from a clients Schedule

After assigning a Workout, you can use the Schedule page to move it to a new date by dragging and dropping it on the calendar.

You can also delete a Workout by clicking the trash icon.

If a Workout was assigned to multiple clients at once, you’ll see a group icon in the top right corner of the Workout.
This means that deleting it will remove it from all clients who received it, not just the one you’re viewing.

Note: If you move a group-assigned Workout to a new date, it will only update for the selected client. It will also be removed from the group assignment, so if you delete it after that, it won’t affect anyone else’s schedule.

3. Assigning programs and workouts using the Programs Tab

The Assign programs tab allows you to assign programs and view your clients feedback. If you prefer to assign programs using a calendar, then the ‘Schedule’ tab is calendar based, allowing you to assign programs and workouts, as well as giving you the option to drag and drop individual workouts to new dates.

To access the ‘Programs’ tab simply navigate to the ‘Clients’ page, select the client you wish to assign your program or workout to and click on the ‘Programs’ tab.

Assigning Programs and Workouts

Within the ‘Programs’ tab you have the option to assign programs using the ‘Assign Programs’ area or assign workouts using the ‘Assign Workouts’ area, both work in the same way. To assign a Program, simply click on the green plus button and select the Program or Workout you wish to assign, then select the date you want the program to start on. Your Program will then run from that date onwards. You can assign multiple Programs, which you can set to start on the end date of the previous Program. Alternatively, you can use the clients ‘Schedule’ and assign your Programs using the calendar, which allows you to then drag and drop workouts to different days.

If your client misses a workout or simply can not do their workout on the assigned day, they can alter their schedule from the schedule link on the home screen of their client app, shown above the days workout button. Clients can only move workouts for the selected week of the workout, they can not move a workout past the end date of the Program… only you can do this using the clients ‘Schedule’ calendar within the dashboard.

Completed Programs

The ‘Completed Programs’ area lists the most recent programs completed, clicking the ‘View All’ link shows a complete history of all the programs the selected client has completed.

Workout rating and feedback

When clients complete a workout they are provided with the option to provide feedback to help you to understand how they found their workout. The feedback they provide also gives a Star rating so that you have a quick visual reference on how your workouts are performing.

The feedback and Star ratings are as follows:

Too easy = 1 Star

Not that challenging = 2 Stars

I couldn’t complete this workout = 3 Stars

I think I had a little more in the tank = 4 Stars

I just about made it = 5 Stars

Connect

Completing a workout is one part of the jigsaw in our wellness journey, for everyday health, we all know the importance of movement. To help you understand your client’s daily movements you can ask your clients to connect their uniquefit client app to either Google Fit or Apple Health to monitor and track their daily steps.

When your client logs into the uniquefit client app they can make the connection to Google Fit or Apple Health by clicking on the three dots in the base menu, from here they just need to scroll down the page to the connect option. Clicking on the connect option will give them the option to connect their device.

You can use the Connect area within the client page to send a prompt to your client if they have not already connected their account.

The Connect area will know the type of device that your client is using, if your client has not connected their account the corresponding button will ready ‘Ask to Connect’, clicking the button will send a push notification to your client.
