How to manage and monitor your client’s nutrition

Food Journal
A private Instagram-like feed to keep track of meals! Review, like, & comment on each food post to provide nutrition coaching. Your client’s wellness journey starts on the inside, and using you app your client’s Food Journal is a great way for clients to record their daily intake.
Nutritional tracking allows you to provide feedback on your client’s daily meals, it also allows you to set, track and monitor their macros.
Have you got your settings set?
Before you can start engaging with your clients nutritional journey, make sure that you have enabled your global or your individual client settings.
Setting macro targets
By selecting the pencil icon, you can establish the daily nutritional goals for your clients, covering both their workout and rest days. Once these targets are configured, your clients can track their macro progress by displaying their macro objectives on the home page of the client app. To ‘show’ or ‘hide’ their macro targets, clients will need to access the base menu of the client app by clicking on the three dots and scrolling down to toggle the display of their calorie information.
Each time a client submits a meal to their food journal, including their calorie intake, their macro data will automatically adjust, enabling them to keep tabs on their daily consumption. You, as their coach, will also have access to this data to assist in monitoring their progress and offering guidance.
Nutrition History
Using the nutrition calendar you can view your client’s calorie intake for any day of the week, you can also use the dropdown menu to view the previous 7 and 14-days.
Fluid intake
When setting your client’s nutritional targets you can also set their fluid intake for the day. To set their water intake simply click on the pencil icon next to the water progress bar. As with your client’s nutrition, you can set water intake for both workout and rest days.

How to monitor, like, and provide feedback on your clients nutrition
Within the UniqueFit client app or your own custom branded app, your clients can utilize the Food Journal feature, allowing them to upload images, descriptions, and use A.i. to effortlessly input macro details for every meal they consume. Each meal uploaded by your client is cataloged in the “Meals Added by Clients” section. From here, you have the ability to access each meal, offer feedback, and provide guidance as needed.
