Memberships let you offer exclusive access to your services through one-time or recurring payments. Whether you’re selling access to classes, programs, or premium app features, memberships make it easy to create tiered experiences for your clients. You can upsell content, unlock new functionality, or tailor offerings based on membership levels—helping you grow revenue while delivering more value.

Creating Memberships

You can create as many memberships as you like, and clients can upgrade or downgrade their memberships at any time through your membership settings.

How to Create a Membership

  1. Navigate to the Memberships page.

  2. At the top of the page, select the Memberships tab.

  3. From here, you can:

    • View and edit existing memberships in the Current Memberships section.

    • Create a new membership using the Add Membership area.

Current Memberships

This section shows all the memberships you have made. From here, you can:

  • Assign the membership to clients

  • View the page where clients can buy the membership

  • Duplicate – Click this to make a copy of the membership that you can change

  • Edit – Use this to change any part of the membership

Note: If you edit a membership, the changes will be updated for both new and current clients automatically.

Creating a New Membership

In the Add Membership section, you can create any kind of membership you want.

Membership Overview Section

Starting from the top, you can add:

  • Membership Image – Add a picture that represents what your membership includes. This image will appear at the top of the page where your clients buy the membership.

  • Membership Name – This is the title of your membership. It shows up in big text at the top of the page.

  • Headline – A short sentence that appears under the membership name. It should quickly explain what your membership is about.

  • Description – Here you can give all the details about what your membership offers. For example, if it includes 3 classes per week, you would write that here.

Membership Payment Section

Free Membership

By default, ‘No’ is selected, meaning the membership is not free. If you want to offer a free membership, simply select ‘Yes’.

Pay

This is the price of your membership.

Example:

  • If you set the Pay amount to 60, set ‘Every’ to 1, and choose ‘Month’, this means your client will pay £60 every month.

  • You can also change how often payments are collected. For instance, setting the Pay to 180, ‘Every’ to 3, and selecting ‘Month’ means £180 will be collected every 3 months.

Your local currency will be shown based on what’s set in the Settings page.

If you choose ‘Month’ as the billing period, you’ll see a Payment Collection option:

  • “Starts in full on purchase day” means the client pays the full amount immediately.

  • “Prorate first payment” means the client pays only for the days left until your chosen Collection Day.

Example:
If a client signs up on the 20th and your collection day is the 25th, they’ll only be charged for 5 days. The full payment will then be collected on the 25th and every month after that until canceled.

Setup Fee

If you’re including a one-time cost—like equipment or a setup service—you can enter it here. This fee is only charged with the first payment.

Payment Frequency

By default, ‘Repeat’ is selected, meaning the membership will automatically renew until it’s canceled.

If you select ‘Once’, the membership will end after one cycle.

Example:
If you set it to charge every 3 months, selecting:

  • ‘Repeat’ means it will charge every 3 months until canceled.

  • ‘Once’ means it will only last for 3 months and won’t renew.

Note: Memberships set to ‘Once’ cannot be upgraded or downgraded.

Collect Payments Until Cancelled

By default, this is set to ‘Yes’, meaning the membership will continue until it’s canceled by you or the client.

If you set it to ‘No’, you can choose how many payments to collect before the membership ends.

Example:
If you’re charging monthly and you set this to 6, the membership will automatically cancel after 6 months.

Membership Discount Section

When creating a membership you have the option to discount the membership price for a set duration. In addition to the membership discount option you also have the option to create Promo codes.

Set membership discount

– If set to No the membership discount options will not be shown and no membership discount will be applied, if set to Yes you will have the following options…

Discount Membership by

– this is the amount the membership will be discounted by, the currency shown will be your chosen currency from the Setting page

Discount Payment

– Using the dropdown menu you can select which payments will be discounted by the amount you set in the ‘Discount Membership by’

Apply Discount

Whenever purchased

– If set to Yes the membership will be discounted whenever it is purchased, if set to No you have the option to set a purchase from and to  date. This means that if a membership is purchased within these dates the discount will be applied, otherwise no discount is applied.

Staff Members on membership page

If your membership provides access to Programs, Workouts or Classes that involve a selection of staff members, you can click on them here. Any selected staff member/s will be highlighted and shown on your Membership purchase page.

What’s included in your membership

This section allows you to configure your membership, providing access to different content, classes and features within your app.

Programs & Challenges

This section lets you choose which Programs and Challenges are included with the membership.

  • You’ll see a list of all the Programs and Challenges you’ve created.

  • Tick the ones you want to include—these will be available to members who buy this membership.

  • Anything not ticked won’t be shown in the on-demand section of your app.

If you turn on “Show unavailable content with a padlock,” members will still see the unselected items, but they’ll have a padlock icon and won’t be accessible.

Individual Workouts

You can assign individual workouts the same way you assign Programs and Challenges.

Important:
If you add a new Program, Challenge, Workout, or Class later, it won’t be included in this membership automatically. To make new content available, you’ll need to:

  1. Come back to this section.

  2. Tick the new content or classes you want to include.

  3. Save the membership again.

Your changes will take effect right away.

Class Bookings

Just like with Programs, Challenges, and Workouts, you can give access to classes by ticking the ones you want to include.
You’ll need to choose the classes for each day of the week.

Below the class selection area, there’s an option called “Allow to attend unlimited classes that have been selected.”

  • If set to Yes, clients with this membership can attend as many of the selected classes as they want.

  • If set to No, you can limit how many classes they can attend.

To limit class bookings:

  1. Enter the number of classes in the “Allow to attend” box.

  2. Choose how often the limit resets – by Day, Week, or Month.

    • Example: If you set 3 classes per Week, clients can book up to 3 classes every week.

Clients can see how many bookings they have left and when they’ll reset in the confirmed bookings section of the app.

End Section

Allow Client to Cancel Membership

By default, clients can cancel their membership at any time in the app by tapping the “Cancel” button in the My Purchases screen.

If you want to delay when the cancel button shows—or hide it completely—you can choose your preferred option from the “Allow client to cancel membership” dropdown menu.

Enable shared membership

Shared Membership allows all associated clients to collectively access the available membership benefits. For example, if the membership includes access to 3 classes per week, this total applies to all clients linked to the membership, rather than being allocated individually to each client.

Maximum Number of Clients

This sets how many clients can be linked to the membership.
For example, if you enter 1, the main client can add 1 additional person (such as a family member).

Membership Index Page

If you’ve created one or more memberships, they will appear on your Membership Index Page.
This page lists all available memberships and can be shared on your website or social media.

You can also share individual memberships using their Membership Page link (shown at the top of your memberships page after saving your membership).

Hide Membership

If this is turned on, the membership won’t appear on the Membership Index Page, but it can still be shown in the app if you’ve enabled “Show/Enable in-App Purchases.”
