Creating your own Recipes
Creating your own recipes is super simple, and is a great way to help your clients with their calorie intake. Each Recipe Card gives you the option to show clients how to prepare and cook their meals, and each card can be grouped with others to form a collection of cards listed within their own category.
To get started click on the Library tab in the left-side menu, then click on the Recipe Card tab.
Categories
At the top of the page is the Categories area, this area enables you to create your own categories that will hold your individual recipes. To create a new category click on the red plus button. Give your category a name, for example, Breakfast, and add an image… width: 509px, height: 339px (see our image guide if you need help).
Creating your Recipe
Use the dropdown to assign your recipe to a category, then select the most appropriate diet type for your meal. Next, add your own search tags to help with finding your recipe should you wish to amend it at a later date.
Add your meal’s calorie information and enter the name of your meal in the Tile box.
Add your prepping/cooking instructions to the Method box. Helpful tip… write your method in your preferred word processing software and copy and paste it across to keep the format of your document.
Next, add your Prep Time and Cook Time
Add your meal header image to the top of the recipe card… width: 509px, height: 339px (see our image guide if you need help).
Adding your ingredients
To add your ingredients simply click on the green plus button within the card. Give your ingredients a title, for example, porridge oats, set the quantity, for example, 50, then select the measurement using the dropdown menu, for example, g, and click ‘Save’. This will then add ‘porridge oats 50g’ to your recipe card. Note, if you are adding an ingredient that does not have a weight, for example, a ‘drizzle of honey’, simply add the title and leave the dropdown set to ‘hide’.
Continue to add each individual ingredient by clicking the green plus button.
When complete click ‘Save’ to add the meal to your recipe library.
