How to setup your booking cancellation policy and configure automated refunds

Uniquefit allows you to sell your classes and appointments through either memberships or credit packages. Once a client makes a purchase, they can book sessions according to the terms of their membership or credit package.

Cancellation Policy

Your Cancellation Policy informs clients how much notice they must provide when cancelling a booking. For example, you might specify that clients must cancel at least 2 hours before the class starts in order to receive a refund.

Uniquefit will automatically manage cancellations according to your policy. For instance:

  • If your policy requires at least 2 hours’ notice, and a client cancels 1 hour before the class or does not show up, they will not receive a refund.

  • If a client cancels 2 hours or more in advance, they will be refunded in the form of a booking credit, not money.

Clients can view your Cancellation Policy in their app on the booking confirmation screen.

You can set different cancellation windows for different classes or appointments, depending on the type of session or the time it is delivered.

The cancellation duration is configured when creating a class on the Class Schedule page.
